John Kennedy is one of the foremost American jewelry designers. Internationally recognized, his work reflects some of the most innovative designs in modern jewelry. In fact, his Cylettes® Collection utilizes a concept so unique that he has been awarded two U.S. patents, an unprecedented event in the jewelry industry.

The emphasis of John’s work embodies colored gemstones cut in cylindrical shape, set in gold and platinum. Cylettes® "Cylinders of Color" display the rich natural color of these gemstones through the concept of "light transmission, rather than reflection". This technique renders the vivid color of the gemstones through a multi-dimensional aspect not found in traditional jewelry.

Individually handcrafted on a limited production basis, Cylettes® are only available in twenty galleries around the world as well as exclusive appearances on select cruise ships or directly from his Massachusetts studio.
